Swiss Space Goes to Tel Aviv

In recent years, Switzerland has developed a broad expertise in the space sector with more than a hundred companies actively working on space technologies and space applications.

Swiss tech is at the cutting edge of innovation, as recently confirmed by Thomson Reuters, which ranked EPFL (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne) as the 5th most innovative university in Europe. Most of the companies coming to DLD with us are spin-offs of EPFL.

As part of the DLD Swiss delegation organized by the Nomads Foundation, AP-Swiss is gathering a group of ten companies, combining very promising start-up with more grown-up ones, to represent this innovative sector. Our aim is to introduce the Israeli ecosystem to Swiss space companies, and present opportunities for Israeli investors and companies to consider Switzerland for future partnerships.

The schedule includes a participation to the DLD Innovation Festival within the Swiss Chalet, a visit of Jerusalem, private receptions with the mayor of Tel Aviv and H.E. Jean-Daniel Ruch, Swiss Ambassador in Israel, visits of incubators, VCs and companies.

In addition, AP-Swiss will organize a panel gathering Swiss and Israeli VCs on Space, startups presenting unique business cases and Solar Impulse as an example of Swiss technological achievements.

The ten companies selected by AP-Swiss to participate in the « Swiss Space goes to Tel Aviv » delegation are:
